Yoren at the Dryad Outpost already has that 1 skill point in "Strength of the mountain", but neither the +16 strength nore the +12 intelligence are added to his total stats. The same has happened to my main character; after resetting my skills and reassigning a skill point to "Strength of the Mountain" I got the strength and intelligence bonus, but as soon as I hit a monster the stats bonus (+16 str and +12 int) is removed and I get the message "-character- has just increased in Strength and Intelligence!". Am I doing something wrong here?

This is a bug in the game. When picking up a henchman in BW, their skills will not always be fully "in effect". Another example is Vix, who has the requirements for Flurry 1 already but doesn't have the power itself. This can be fixed by taking them to the skill trainer and reassigning the points.

Thanks for your reply, Quickdraw. Resetting of skills will not fix things for the skill in question, though :/
I hope they will fix this soon.
I am currently building a "berserker" melee character (uses weapons that grant a chance to go "Berserk"). Very exciting so far. And I've figured out a way to get around the armour penalty
What are you up to?

I've been having some serious difficulties with DS2 recently... Frame rate drops to 2 or 3 per second after playing for a few minutes (making the game close to unplayable). Until I work out what's causing it to drop so dramatically I've been running a guild in Guild Wars, specifically for Dungeon Siege fans. It's surprising how many principles of one game can be transferred to another and help you develop some very impressive strategies
