I have just defeated the rebel leader and am now a little stuck as where to go, the cave i kileed him in seems to have now exit to a new area and i have searched around for a another path but cant find anything, can anybody help?

IIRC, the rebel leader's cave is a dead end. Exit the cave the way you came, and you will quickly come to a four way intersection... To the left is the way back to the gypsy camp, straight ahead is a small side path (which loops back towards the camp too), and to the right is the way to progress in the main quest / game (again, IIRC).
