cannot find my way out of city where caretaker was killed.. do i go back to lava pit... or what thanks to all who replied to my ???? the old man===== came out of jherkal's crown north to city or strong hold of utrae after the shadow jumper,found caretaker dying in ruins of city, i think we are on death mountain????

I think you're going backwards or something. First comes the Trader's Camp, then the Mountain of the Dead, then it exits out into the Ziggurats, where the caretaker is. After that is the underground Utraean city (Jerkhal's Crown).

Just wander around the ziggurats until you find the city. You know you're close when you start encountering Cobble Men.
