This may be a silly question, but I cannot figure out how to speak in the Rahvan scenario or in the Soul Staff scenarios. Is this supposed to be automatic? Or, am I just clueless on how to make my character speak?

There's two ways. Both ways involve a chant ("Letiso" for Rahvan's quest, and "Arcesso Arcanum" for the Soul Staff).

Either go into your list of chants (hit "j" and it should be under the "Chants" tab) and manually use the chant, or type it out in chat by pressing enter to bring up the chat window and pressing enter again after you've typed it in.

In both situations, make sure that you're standing exactly where you're supposed to. A little message should pop up when you're in the right spot.
