Eh... I don't think it's so bad. There's some skills that have male descriptions, I think.

I'm pretty sure the gender neutral pronouns should all be they (one could use he/she, especially for hermaphrodites, I guess), if you're colloquial, but you have to restructure the sentence to be formal.

Yeah - all the FoS descriptions have male pronouns in the skill and power descriptions. Though I'm surprised that they don't all use female descriptions anyway, as the vast majority of created game characters are female anyway.
